BIOGRAPHY - KTEE
KTEE has been singing since the moment she spoke her first word and hasn't stopped since. Countless hours of her childhood were spent in her tiny room. This is where she trained her voice on her own, relying only on her mother’s bulky red tape recorder. One pop song after another was recorded, listened to, analyzed and re-sung until she was fully satisfied with the sound. In fact, 102 recordings were collected on her treasured cassettes to the point of breaking – literally.
Heavily influenced by her parents' desire to see her with a degree that offered "proper career prospects" KTEE studied at the University of Vienna where she continued working on her singing skills – this time without her tape recorder and not at all alone. She not only had voice coaches to help with voice training, but also roommates and neighbors to annoy with her “gugugus” and “nenenenes” in other words, singing exercises. Once, her “understanding” neighbors even threatened to call the police for noise disturbance! – but she couldn’t and wouldn't be stopped.
She successfully qualified in a singing competition, which can be viewed kind of the beginning of her career, since she got to know her present producer there.
After living abroad (Ireland), where she discovered her passion for songwriting, and the search for her musical identity started anew. “It took some time until I found my place in the world of music, but I've never stopped following my dream.”
Her second single (2017) „Rollercoaster“ became semi-finalst of the ISC 2017 (International Songwriting Competition). In this song KTEE compares a rollercoaster ride with the ups and downs one experiences in a romantic relationship.
In February 2018 KTEE released her third single „So What“ and for which she got airplay on some UK radio stations. This song reflect the singer’s own development from a shy child full of self-doubts to a woman who knows her own mind and is strong and confident. „So What“ became her life motto. "Do what you love, haters gonna hate anyway. Follow your dreams, stay strong. And if you fall, stand up, shake of the dust and keep going“, so KTEE.
In January 2019 her single "Melody" was released in which she uses MUSIC as a metaphor for love. Melody also became semi-finalist of the ISC. The song got airplay in Germany, England and Switzerland.
In July 2019 her single "Rich" was released. The catchy mood-lifting song is easy to sing and dance to and by singing “I am rich when I feel alive...” KTEE and encourages young people to value the moments in their lives that do not cost a thing.The song got radio airplay in Germany, England and America and is quite successful on Spotify (250 000 streams).
Her newest singles LOUDER and YOUR PLACE got radio airplay in England, America, Netherlands, Italy and Germany.
In January 2021 she released "Push and Pull" which got radio airplay on several international radio stations including BBC Radio Sussex.
In March 2021 she released the ballad "Buried Alive", which deals with a sad love story.
In July 2021 she released "Back in Time", in which she wishes to be able to travel back in time to give herself a hug.
In September she collaborated with Paenda and Vida Noa and they wrote and released "Boys 4 Breakfast".
She started 2022 by releasing "Trust Issues", a song about the frustration that comes with loving somebody with trust issues.

BIOGRAPHIE - KTEE
Seit sie sich erinnern kann singt sie - es gibt keinen Anfang und kein Ende. Viele Stunden ihrer Kindheit verbrachte KTEE in ihrem kleinen Zimmer und baute ganz alleine ihre Stimme aus. Der rote riesengroße Kassettenrecorder der ihrer Mutter gehörte war ihr wichtigstes Tool dabei. Einen Popsong nach dem anderen sang sie auf ihre heißgeliebten Kassetten um danach ihre Stimme zu analysieren und dann nochmal besser aufzunehmen.
Diesen eisernen Ehrgeiz hat KTEE niemals verloren. Der seit Kindheit dagewesene innere Drang nach Musikmachen zog sie nach Wien.
Bald nahm sie erstmals an einem Gesangswettbewerb teil und erreichte den 2. Platz. Dort lernte sie auch ihren heutigen Produzenten kennen und erste Türchen öffneten sich.
Die Castingshow "Helden von morgen", war für sie ein einmaliges Erlebnis, welches ihr erneut klar vor Augen führte, dass es NUR DAS (=Singen/Musik) sein würde, was sie sowohl beruflich als auch privat WIRKLICH erfüllen würde.
Mit ihrem Song "So What" wäre sie beinahe beim ESC 2018 für Österreich angetreten, sie war beim internen Wettbewerb unter den Top 3.
Ihr Song "Trust Issues" war in der Auswahlliste für den ESC 2022 (dieses mal für Deutschland).
Achievements:
Ihre im Jahr 2017 veröffentlichte Single „Rollercoaster“, schaffte sie es ins Semifinale des internationalen Songwriting Wettbewerbs (ISC 2017), welcher in Nashville/Amerika jährlich stattfindet.
Mit ihrem Song SO WHAT ging sie erstmals nach England (London) und New York um ihn dort zu promoten. Das Resultat: Radio airplay in UK-Radios und eine erfolgreiche Clubtour (unter anderem im legendären „The Bedford“, in dem schon Ed Sheeran, James Bay und U2 performten). "So What" war in den Top 3 der internen Auswahl für den ESC (für Österreich)
Im Jänner 2019 veröffentlichte KTEE ihren Song MELODY. Darin singt die Sängerin über ihre große Liebe – die Liebe zur Musik. Diese Liebe steht in dem Song als Metapher für das Finden eines Seelenverwandten. Auch dieser Song schaffte es ins Semifinale des ISC und bekam airplay in Radios in der Schweiz (radio energy), England und Deutschland.
Im Sommer 2019 folgt der Release von RICH, ein Song in dem KTEE ihre persönlichen Glücksmomente feiert sowie ihre Erkenntnis dass reich nicht unbedingt Dagobert Duck –reich heißen muss. Der Song feiert regelmäßiges Radio Airplay in Deutschland, Amerika und England und erreichte auf Spotify bisher 250 000 streams.
Auch ihre aktuellen Songs LOUDER und YOUR PLACE hat Radioairplay in Deutschland, Amerika, England, Italien und Niederlande. Beide Songs schafften auch Airplay auf Hitradio Ö3.
Auch die im Jänner 2021 veröffentliche Single "Push and Pull", die eine persönliche unglückliche Liebesgeschichte behandelt, bekam unter anderem Radio-Airplay auf BBC Radio Sussex.
2021 folgten noch weitere Songs, nämlich "Buried Alive", eine Ballade über eine traurige Lovestory, und "Back in Time", ein Song in dem sie sich wünscht in der Zeit zurückreisen zu können um der jüngeren Version ihrer Selbst Trost zu spenden. Außerdem veröffentlichte sie, zusammen mit PAENDA und Vida Noa den Song "Boys for Breakfast" um auf die Situation von Frauen im Musikbusiness aufmerksam zu machen und die fehlende Unterstützung von Frauen für Frauen.
2022 startete sie mit dem Release von "Trust Issues", eine Song über die Frustration jemanden zu lieben, der/die Vertrauensprobleme hat und der/die sich aus Ängsten einfach nicht binden kann. "Trust Issues" war in der Auswahlliste für die Auswahlshow für den ESC (für Deutschland)
2022 war KTEE der opening Act für Nico Santos, was für sie ein persönliches "Live-Highlight" war.
Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Verwendung des Kollaborations-Songs "Boys 4 Breakfast" mit PAENDA und Vida Noa in einem Kinofilm der am 6.10.2022 veröffentlicht wird.
